Ps3 yes or no?

Within the past couple of weeks, I’ve suddenly felt the urge to get a PS3 (Playstation 3). These urges due to the fact that my XBOX360 has broken FIVE times now, and could do so again at any time. I’ve read up somewhat on the reliablility of  the PS3, and have found few fatal system problems, and even those are farely uncommon. With the 360 plaigued by system problems I simply want a reliable system to enjoy my time spent on it without worrying about when the f*cking warranty runs out! So, when the price cut comes out in April, or maybe even before, should I pick up a PS3? Is it a keeper or $300-$400 of regret?
